What the atlas does
The graph explorer connects ingredients, products, brands, and evidence-linked interaction notes so you can follow a single ingredient across every product that maps it, or compare two formulas directly. The K-Beauty 101 guides and concern pages give that graph editorial context — what an ingredient does, why it trended, and what its tradeoffs are — with sources linked rather than asserted. The routine builder and comparison tools turn exploration into something you can act on without creating an account: both work from data stored in your browser and the page URL, not on our servers.
What it is not
It is not a medical or dermatological reference, and nothing on the site is a recommendation to use or avoid a specific product. It is not a complete inventory of Korean skincare — only reviewed, source-backed records are published, so the catalog grows deliberately rather than by scraping. How it stays funded
K-Beauty Atlas links to Amazon as an Associate and earns a commission on qualifying purchases made through those links, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate availability never determines what gets published, how it is described, or where it sits in the graph — see editorial policy for how that separation is enforced. Display advertising is deliberately switched off until the site has enough traffic and content to run it responsibly; sponsorship, if it happens, will be visibly labeled and kept out of graph ranking and editorial review.
