Alpha-Arbutin

Hydroquinone precursor derived from bearberry — inhibits tyrosinase enzyme activity to reduce melanin production. More stable and less irritating than hydroquinone. At 2% concentration, clinical evidence supports visible brightening within 4 weeks. Stacks well with vitamin C and tranexamic acid for multi-pathway brightening.
