INCI: BIS-ETHYLHEXYLOXYPHENOL METHOXYPHENYL TRIAZINE
Bemotrizinol (BEMT), the broad-spectrum UVA and UVB filter marketed by BASF as Tinosorb S. The FDA added bemotrizinol to the U.S. OTC sunscreen monograph in June 2026 at concentrations up to 6%; finished products must still meet the applicable market requirements and testing. Trade-name recognition does not establish a product’s SPF, UVA protection, texture, or individual compatibility.
