Titanium Dioxide
이산화티타늄
INCI: TITANIUM DIOXIDE
Physical UV filter with primarily UVB coverage (less UVA than zinc oxide). A key ingredient in Korean cushion compacts and BB creams — provides UV protection as part of the makeup formula. Often nano-particle sized for reduced white cast. The ingredient that made BB creams functional SPF products rather than pure tinted moisturizers.
How to read this ingredient
Read Titanium Dioxide as part of a finished formula
Sunscreen identifies a UV-filter role, but an ingredient page is not an SPF rating. Only validated finished-product labeling and directions establish the protection a sunscreen product claims.
